Fear Factor

During my Thanksgiving travels I was looking at the big signs that now blanket our highways asking us to report any suspicious activity. Since 9/11 the administration has ratcheted up the fear quotient of this country to astronomical levels in the name of security. And not just security, the same fear has been used to cowl the electorate into casting their votes for "staying the course". And it has worked spectacularly well until this last election when people finally realized that they were not safer, that IRAQ is a disaster, and that the DEMOCRATS are not the devil. People are beginning to see that they are being lied to and manipulated for the good of the Republican party.

I am thankful for many things in my life. Family, health, food security (lol) and the fact that the eyes of the country are being opened. Thank God.
