When is a law a law?

"We believe that judges ought to strictly interpret the law and not legislate from the bench,"

Another case of POTUS talking the talk but refusing to walk the walk. There is an article in the NY times ( http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/24/washington/24prexy.html?ex=1311393600&en=b748a5b2247ab591&ei=5088&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss ) that pretty much makes the case that Bush believes that the laws passed by Congress and signed by him do not apply to him. He is free to disregard any and all parts of the "law" by using a "signing statement" to clarify his view. Basically Bush is setting himself up as judge and jury. Definitely not what was envisioned by our forefathers.

This is no way to run our country.
